Trojan Crew,
Please take a moment to read the first newsletter from our School Resource Officer (SRO), Sgt. R.L. Noga. If you see him at our school or in our community, including other Conejos County schools, give him a big Trojan hello!
South Conejos School District would also like to thank the Conejos County Sheriff's Department for making this happen for our community. We look forward to this partnership and are excited about this resource for our students, staff, and parents.
"TROJANS...ALL IN, ALL THE TIME!"
Elementary Families,
This is a reminder to please drop of your K-5 students between 5:30-5:45 for the concert tonight! We hope to see you all there!
We know it is hard finishing up school right before Winter Break, so your presence is a present! Come to school and find a mini tree hidden in the building and get the chance to participate in Principal Mansheim's Present Punch!
Good Afternoon Trojan Families,
We have lots of exciting events this week and we hope to see you there! December 19th will be the elementary holiday concert at 6:00 pm. December 20th will be the preschool holiday concert and dinner at 6:00 pm. Students will be dismissed December 21st at 2:00 pm. We want to wish everyone a warm and wonderful winter break!
Family Crew Weekend Activity: Penny for your Thoughts.
Collect pennies or other coins that were minted in different years, but none earlier than the youngest family member's birth year. Have each person pick up a coin and share something memorable that happened in the year printed on it.
Currently all phone lines are down. We are working to get phone lines up and running again. Thank you all for your patience.
Trojan Families,
We are having issues with our front desk phones. Please call 719-376-7021 instead. Thank you.
Good Evening Trojan Families,
We will have a two hour delay tomorrow, December 14th, due to weather conditions. Bus routes will start at 9:00 am. Drop-off will be between 9:30-10:00 am. Tomorrow's high school basketball game has also been postponed. Please travel safely and stay warm in our first snow storm of the year!

A reminder that lockout is when no one can enter or leave the building until the surrounding area is considered safe and secure. Thank you to our Conejos Sheriff's Office for their quick response.

This weekend's Family Crew Activity: Home Trivia
Come up with around 20-25 questions about your home and family and then have your family compete to see who can answer each question correctly, the fastest. These can be questions such as, “What is mom’s favorite color?” or “How did Johnny break his collarbone.” This activity will be a lot of fun and is a great way to strengthen your family bond.
